Fun Trip

 The First Trip

The first trip was to visit the cafe in front of Dong Thap University. In front of the university, there are many shops, cafes, restaurants, and street food. Besides easy access, the price is also affordable.

Here are some pictures of the shops in front of the campus.

The cafe visited was D&T Coffe. To go there, we were accompanied by buddies because we did not know how to order or the types of drinks available at the cafe. There,  I and other Indonesian friends talked about many things with our buddies.

The Second trip

I visited a historic place; this place is not far from the dormitory. To get to the place, we Sea Teacher students are escorted by the campus using the campus bus. It only takes about 15–20 minutes to get there. The place is where the parents of the president of Vietnam are buried; there are also statues of him, places of worship, traditional houses, museums, and what characterizes it There we find a lot of lotus plants, whose plants or lotus flowers have a special meaning.

The Third Trip

My friends and I went to the traditional market, which is not too far from the dormitory. We went to the traditional market to buy ingredients and spices for us to cook later. We also bought market snacks there, which are made from coconut milk and red beans.

After buying ingredients from the market, we usually cook Indonesian food for dinner in the communal kitchen for the international students.

The Fourth Trip

On this trip, I went to a place far enough away that getting there took about an hour. The transportation used to get there was a bus from the university, and we were also accompanied by buddies from Dong Thap University. The place visited was Sa Dec Park, commonly known as the Flower Garden.

The Fifth Trip

We went to the night market; to get there, we used a taxi. When we arrived there, the weather was not favorable; it was drizzling. There, we can find various types of snacks, ranging from snacks, clothes, antiques, and cute knick-knacks, and there is also live music.

It was all a very fun and memorable trip, sharing stories and exchanging cultures, and I will always remember it. What an amazing trip!
